The
late Blues Kingfisher was the last son of Blue Valentine

Welcome to Pineview Quarter Horses/Abel Ranch
Co. We are a cattle and horse operation in south central Montana. George
and Helen Abel homesteaded here in 1907. Dave and Cindy are third generation
while Toby and his wife Jennifer along with their daughter Bryar are
the fourth and fifth generation. We do all of our work horseback and
haven't found a bloodline combination better than the Hancock/Driftwood
lines.
Forced to sell our son of Blue Valentine (Blues Kingfisher) as well
as our last mares some time ago, I set out to start again and over the
next few years furthered my horsemanship and evaluated every bloodline
I came across. I always came back to the horses I was raised with. Some
other lines offered different things but as a whole for a ranch/arena
horse I don't think there is a better cross. One of the studs we stand
and use now is a Kingfisher son out of a Hancock 13 daughter.
It is our goal to represent each horse honestly and as accurately as
possible. We would like our reputation as people and horse breeders
to be as strong as the horses we raise. Please call anytime if you are
looking for a horse or would just like to visit about horses. Thank
you for viewing our site.
